What’s been happening:

I'm still living the dream of covering and reporting on sports in my hometown of Pittsburgh. My wife (Susan Partsch-Alexander) and I have three wonderful kids; Taylor 15, Kendall 12 and Sammy 6. I've been lucky enough to cover two Steeler Super Bowl Championships in the last four years, the Penguins run to the Stanley Cup Finals last year, and we're all still waiting for the Pirates to turn the corner. I certainly keep tabs on all of the Penn State teams and get up to Happy Valley as often as possible. I was able to do both a men's and women's basketball game for the Big Ten Network last year and look forward to doing many more in the future. I lived and worked in State College for 15 years after school and truly miss being there. I always thought I would be there to cover Joe Paterno's final game but who knows when that will actually take place. Thankfully, Pittsburgh is loaded with great Penn Staters and I keep in touch with many of them.
